About us…

Divine Resonance was formed in 2017 by members Billy Hart (drums) and Dan Leffingwell (guitar) as a way to escape from the craziness of life. After Jake O’Marrah (lead vocals) came on board it became more than just an afternoon jam, it became Divine Resonance. Since then they have added Gabe Douglas (keys) and James Markham (bass) to their ranks, have defined their sound, played shows and festivals and released an album. This is only the beginning.

Although we, along with many others, struggled through the COVID-19 pandemic, we came out on the other side itching to play and loaded with new content that we are eager to reveal. We plan to begin work on our second album and to ramp up our gigging. Simply put, we love making music, whether that is performing originals (see Lifest 2019 video above) or covers (see Exhibit 2019 above), we are dedicated to the medium and are eager to share our craft with you!

Live at Resurrection Church

Live in the City of Lights, Divine Resonance was featured in Stevo Thompson’s Album debut concert on July 19th, 2024. Below is our performance of Diggin’ Graves, which is an example of some of our new content and will be professionally recorded in October.

Performance at Palatine Street Fest

After winning the Palatine Battle of the Bands contest, Divine Resonance was invited to play a full set at the Palatine Street Fest. Below is our song “As Long As Your With Me”
