The Story
Divine Resonance was formed in 2017 by members Billy Hart (drums) and Dan Leffingwell (guitar) as a way to escape from the craziness of life. After Jake O’Marrah (lead vocals) came on board it became more than just an afternoon jam, it became Divine Resonance. Since then they have added Gabe Douglas (keys) and James Markham (bass) to their ranks, have defined their sound, played shows and festivals, won contests, and released an album. This is only the beginning.

Jake O’Marrah
Lead Vocals
Jake is the frontman of Divine Resonance. Jacob recently graduated with his Master's in Divinity and a Master's of Arts in Systematic Theology from Trinity Evangelical Divinity School. Music and songwriting have been part of his life since he was 12 years old. Jake is the Discipleship Pastor at Resurrection Church and currently lives with his wife Carol Marie, in Montgomery, IL.

Dan Leffingwell
Guitars
Dan is the lead guitarist and a founding member of Divine Resonance. He received his degree in Church Music from TIU, and is now the Worship Arts Minister at Resurrection Church. Dan lives in Aurora, IL with his wife, Joy, their son, Phineas, and their dog, Remy.

Billy Hart
Drums
William "Billy Hart" Hartenberger is the drummer and a founding member of Divine Resonance. Originally from Rockford, IL, he is recent a graduate from Trinity College of Trinity International University, class of 2019. Billy lives with his wife, Aislinn and their two daughters, Autumn, and Brooke in Sturtevant WI.

TheBishop
Bass
James “TheBishop” Markham is the bassist and newest member of Divine Resonance. He is forever a student of music, but he has been teaching it for the past 10 years with an emphasis in gospel music. His first instrument is the electric bass, and he is usually seen playing his six-string, Which he named, Big Barda (gotta be a nerd to get it). TheBishop and his lovely wife, Marisol, are happy to join the DR crew.

Gabe Douglas
Keys
Gabe is the keys player for Divine Resonance He graduated from Trinity in 2017 with a degree in Christian Ministries with an emphasis in pastoral studies. Gabe, in addition to keys also plays, sax, percussion and guitar. He currently resides in the 414 Milwaukee Wi.
